Welcome

The Foundation works to collect money for research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, ALS, and to spread information about this illness. Our work is financed by gifts from the general public. Everybody who works for the Foundation does so unpaid, since our policy is to keep costs down to a minimum so that all income will be for the benefit of research instead.

ALS is an incurable neurological illness that is contracted by over 200 people every year in Sweden. The illness has been known since the middle of the nineteenth century but researchers still do not know what causes it. It leads to only one end. Death.
